Brad,
I may be interested for my 928 track car. They would look great with the paint scheme I have planned. I'll get back to you soon.

I'm kinda new here, so I apologize for asking a stupid question:
Why, in all of the wheel discussions, don't the weight of the wheels come up as an issue on this forum?
Is it just a given that Kinesis,HRE's, Fikse's are light and strong?
In my searches for wheels weight is always right up there in my priorities with strength, price and appearance. But it never seems tro be an issue here.

Do you track your car? Saving a few pounds on the street makes only a negligible difference.
Edit: And, I'd bet these wheels weigh around 20 lbs front -23 lbs rear.

Since strength, appearance and price were mentioned in addition to weight I'll put in my 2 cents.
Strength: Kinesis are very well built and with the poor roads in California, stand up to all the potholes and ruts. If by chance rim halves are bent, Alan at Kinesis provides great customer service and quick turnaround for much less than the cost of buying an entire rim.
Appearance: The K28R is a great looking wheel!
Price: At $2400 for wheels & tires, this is much less than 50% off of retail and they are in excellent condition.
Weight: Not sure what they weigh but I believe they are comparable to many three-piece wheels out there. Too light and I believe you sacrifice durability--this may be ok if you are only on the track. But if you are ever on the street you never know what will jump in your path.
Thanks for listening and maybe I'm just a bit biased?!
Cheers, Brad

Brad. If you are in the Bay Area, do you ever sleep? 3:30am and your up! The wheels look like a good deal to me. I'm surprized nobody has snatched them up yet.

Randy- Hah, you caught me....up late as bunch of us celebrated a buddy's bday. Went to a few SF nightclubs...a friend owns one and parked his gorgeous silver 360 Modena Spyder out front.
Thanks for comps on the wheels....noticed your signature says "what next"....
well a red car would look great with K28R's with dark silver centers!!
Cheers, Brad
