That engine looks like it's where my spare tire and golf shoes are supposed to be. Must be wierd having all that weight up front. I just crack myself up sometimes.

Eyal, good to have you back. Daytimes free again?

Fred, Sorry to inform you, but the weight biass on this car is 51% REAR, 49 percent front... Just like it should be. No stinking pendulum weight hangin out past the rear axle, who thought that design was a good idea!
Daytimes free again, except for when I'm in class, or working on stuff. I have plenty of room out in the hatch to put 5 golf bags, and my spare tire etc!

With that much room for golf clubs you could pick up some extra money as a caddie.

Hope to see you around the roaster

Speaking of the Roaster. It would appear that Dusty will be having and exhibit of my Photowerks next Sunday. I am putting together about a dozen framed Ferrariwerks that will be on display for a Ferrari club that will be coming by before their own fun run to Santa Barbara for lunch.

I was thinking that I will have to jet out early to say hello to the Ferrari guys at the Roaster. There is a nice Deli in the mall that maybe you guys can have brunch at then come over to say hi and have a cup o joe.

Anyway just a thought.

JGR,

I am trying to hook up with the 805 guys (Steve, Scott, Marty and Scott.) to head down to the run. The usual meeting spot is the Von's on Sunset and PCH right? Please confirm.

I am running solo from 661 because Rand will be out of town, Lon's car is in the shop and I have not heard from Edward. Maybe OG will show up???

JR, I can probably make it on Sunday, but with rain expected every day between now and then, the canyon roads will probably be rife with water, mud and rocks, so it doesn't look good right now. My car is already filthy from a Sunday drive to Santa Barbara two Sundays ago, when there was some patchy rain.

The interesting thing is to see the pattern of the water and mud on the car. There's much more on the back of the car than anywhere else, indicating that the air flow sucks up spray into the back of the car.

JR, BTW, don't you live in or near Brentwood. That's were I am.

Tony, if all goes well... 7am. Don't be late, right ON-TIME?

Although, if the weather is as predicted, it ain't lookin good for a run. Hills already saturated and with 3 to 4 more days, it's gonna be a mess.

Playing it by ear until then. Here is one of my new Ferrariwerks. You like?

Yep, Sunset/Barrington, and "EThic's" TT with his new K18's is just up the hill, and JCaine's beautiful new glacier white TT is just across the 405. Maybe we should all meet at Starbucks some morning soon.....
