Here are the in process of the work pictures I posted before:

Here are the finished pictures (roughly the same picture angles to compare):

This sure was too much work, but it is done and the car has been transformed in the handling department given the stiffness!
Enjoy!

Kary,
That looks very nicely done. With the tie-ins to the b-pillars, the extra trusses in the rear corners, and all the cross bracing I can imagine that's really stiffened up the car and is grear for safety. Although, hopefully you'll only ever enjoy the handling benefits and won't get to test it for satefy!

Kary,
When they painted the DOM, did they remove all of the brown grease? I have some DOM and I'm wondering how I'm going to get all of that junk off before I paint it.
Also, how did they weld the joints between the roof and the cage?

CY & mr_bock,
Thanks for the compliments. It was a long road as I did most of the work. Never again.... I was just putting on the SFI 45.1 rated foam on the roll cage in certain places where it is possible to hit myself in an incident. I noticed that I hit my left knee on the door cage cross during the 2 days so I am going to put some padding there as well.
Red,
I painted the cage and interior so I removed any oil on the steel and cleaned up the joints. As it turned out there really was not much in the way of grease on the joints. could be the type of welder used possibly.
Poorb0yw,
Yes, I still have AC and heat in the car so I do have the ducting still. Some day when I am looking for some more weight reduction I will remove all the AC and heat stuff. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of the car in terms of the weight reduction, I did well at the last event. More weight reduction might be on call soon
