Default Helmet painting - design? Show us!

My new Bell M2 Pro helmet has arrived, in white of course. Being tired of white, I've located a shop nearby that will paint it, but now the problem is my lack of creativity. I'd love to see some examples of cool helmets - anyone want to post some photos of yours? I'd especially like to see designs that are fairly simple, i.e. I'm unlikely to want dragons, giant flames, etc. But you never know!

I've been looking for a black helmet, but the majority are in white. Is there a reason behind that?

I used to custom paint helmets (and cars, cell phones (before people even knew what custom cell cover is) etc.) and just brought my paintbrushes from Finland, now I only need time to paint my hat, it's also white and that's bugging me! I have few old helmets in Finland from my motocross days and they all have different kind of custom painjob and now I have plain white helmet for the first time.. Not good. I can scan some of the photos I have, there might be couple you could like (not too complicated).

Also, here are some simple design I like.

Parker, Trace & Vasser. Jimmy Vasser's hat is especially good looking IMO, simple but pretty damn nice (it's the flames that do it for me...).

FYI, one design element I've always like and is very easy to do is "square backroun" that many driver's have in their helmet, see the pattern on the bottom & back of this one:

It's easier to paint a white helmet than it is to paint a black one.

Also, a white helmet reflects some of the heat a black helmet would absorb. When I was racing BMX I permitted myself the vanity of a black helmet for a couple of years. When I broke that helmet the manufacturer offered me a silver one. I was amazed at how much better I felt after a race in a lighter-colored helmet. Some of the younger pros went all the way to a fully reflective helmet which was cooler still.

My M2 Pro is plain white right now as well. I'll probably change that at some point.

Don't forget, some paint can be destructive to your shell. Find a painter who knows, and cares about, the difference.

Great links and pics! Keep 'em coming. Danny, I especially like yours. Is the Porsche crest on the top of your helmet painted on? Or is it a sticker?

Thanks! The crest is a sticker. Although I could have had this painted why spend the additional money when I could just do the sticker...
The rest including the Porsche letters are painted...
