Default 6 speed Torque Capacity

Anyone have any idea how much torque the standard 6 speed 993 gearbox can take?

Above 700 NM people on this board have seen bent gears, but it takes time. You can also damage it with much less than that if you mis shift.

so I'd imagine it could live w/the 993TT engine attached...

That is not what RUF does if you want to stick a TT engine in your C4S. Then again Corte Loco swapped engines and he seesm to be ok.

My comment above referred to a G64/51 (TT gearbox), sorry. I know another couple of guys who have done it as well without issues, it all comes down to how you treat the box I guess.
