Joe-
These are the wheels you have. Nice 17" wheels that I was debating for the longest time about, but the 5 spookes won out.

Not fast enough for me. It will be at least a couple more weeks before the painter can get to it.

KKim/Fister - too good...tried doing an internet search and was getting the kitchen sink for hits, so this was a big time saver and a mystery solved. I guess my issue now is that I've got 7" and 9" when I ought be around 8" and 10",yes? Any way to confirm this, or did the 10-spokes only come in 7/9 flavor? By the way, I've long admired the rims on both your cars and fills the wheel wells very nicely

Joe-
If you look at your wheels next to the valve stems, on either side there are numbers. One is the width and the other the offset. Would be curious to know what those #'s are.
Mine are 8f/10r widths.

Alex,
Nope, wasn't me, mine is sitting in front of my house with a flat. One reason I went ahead with the sport ribs. I really wanted to wait for the PS2's. I have an appointment with Momentum to mount the tires ($27 each). They have a load balancer and assured me they won't scratch my pristine rims.

mrsullivan - yes I heard that this treatment was from Tire Rack and in regards to the Pilot Sports that they call "Ribs". When I ordered a set from TR, they didn't ask any questions the just shipped them. These were 18" for my Boxster. I didn't get my other set from TR but when I ordered them I said I want the PS Ribs. I was promptly told that "rib" was a TR term but they had the tire and would ship them right away. - But from others I've heard this VIN thing........Way strange. At any rate glad to hear it's over. Cheers
