Graphite Grey = Cassic Gray?
Hi all, Is graphite grey the same as classic grey? I am looking at a steering wheel that is graphite and want to know if it will match my car (classic grey interior). Any help would be great. Thanks.

Moose,
Two different colors. In my year ('97) there were three interior grays: Classic, Marble and Graphite. I'm not sure if Porsche used the same sw for all, but my guess is no.
I have a Classic Gray (my car's interior color) OEM sw that was taken off to install a black AJ-USA three spoke airbag sw two years ago. Like new (19,000 miles). If you're interested let me know. It will never go back on my car.
Don't know why you're doing the swap, but IMO the best thing to do is ditch the OEM (Buick Century style) four spoke wheel and install the AJ-USA sw in black. Black is a perfect match for the Classic Gray interior and then add the black MY'02 shifter and black/aluminum handbrake.

Mike- Rubicon Gray wasn't an option in 1997? I know it was available in 1996 since my prev car had it. Rubicon is the slightly darker gray with a very slight hue of purple.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure that my color is listed as classic grey, although it sure does match the rubicon grey (purple tint) you talk about Eric. I would love to move to the AJ steering wheel but I think if I find a dirt cheep tiptronic wheel that matched my car, I will buy it so that I can integrate the stereo controls into the wheel. I just can't justify spending the $$$ for the aftermarket wheel when there is a much larger list of performance items that can be had for similar prices.
