Default Help identify these 17" wheels

I know this will be an easy question for you experts. Can you tell me what type 17" wheels I have on my 95 993 NB. They seem to have a twist while many 95's I've seen seem to have a more flat wheel. Are these OEM or have they been added? Thanks.

Take the wheel off and look for a Porsche # stamped in the back. That will tell you if they are Porsche wheels or not. Call the dealer. They will give you the details.

If they are OEM Porsche, Boxster and 996 to 2002. Came in three sizes:

7" x 17" - ET55 - 996 and 986 front
8.5" x 17" - ET50 - 986 rear
9" x 17" - ET55 - 996 rear

Not sure if WE sells replicas of OEM wheels. I am pretty certain these are OEM as I see the width and offset on either side of the valve stem.

Viken,

Thanks for the info. If OEM, should they have a Porsche part number on the inside? This must be a fairly common swap as I have seen a number of 993 with these "twist type" which I always thought was original 993. Always learning...

Yes, the part numbers should start with 996...
