Thinking about picking up a set of used Litronic headlight assemblies. They don't come with wiring or the transformers.

Anyone know what the missing parts cost?

The P/N on the headlight assemblies is 993.631.051.00. Is this P/N for Litronics. I'll be purchasing these sight un-seen.

My understanding is that the wiring and the transformers can cost a small fortune. I believe that there is thread on the relative costs somewhere. I think that you are better off purchasing a complete set.

Here are the part numbers from my 97 C2S:

993 631 052 02 right headlight assembly
993 631 051 02 left headlight assembly
993 701 631 02 transformers, 2 of these, one on each side.

If all you would get are the 2 oem Litronics headlights & you want to do a Litronics conversion, you'll still need 2 igniters, 2 ballasts, 2 D2S bulbs, some minor hardware and the wiring. I'd venture an educated guess those parts will run considerably more than an entire H1 HID conversion kit @ $550 +/- which includes 2 combined igniter/ballast units, required wiring & 2 H1 HID bulbs.
