Default Raising the rear

I've been looking and apparently there is no safe way to get the rear on jack stands (both wheels) with the undertray in place. Have I missed a thread or DIY post?
Thanks, and sorry if I missed it.

Jack up one side and remove the tray, then get your jack under from behind and jack from the transmission point. I don't know if this is technically correct, but it has been effective for me. Be careful.

You can also jack up one side from the front jack point and put in a stand on that side, then move to the other side and repeat using the jack under the front point to lift.

I've found the easiest way is to just find an inclined drive way (ideally leading up to your level garage floor) and park the car on the level floor after the incline - the rear wheels just at the rear of the level portion so in effect the tail is overhanging a declining plane. That leaves plenty of room to reach in and take of the tray.

I get very uneasy under a car using just a jack - even for the engine tray. I know I'm paranoid.
