Here's one of mine, followed by a couple of shots from a nice 993 Turbo S interior with deviating yellow stitching...

Here is the interior of mine with the wood shifter and e-brake handle. The steering wheel is a 996 unit with the leather air bag. The V1 install is hiddin in this shot. I'll post up another shot with the V1.

Dr No,

The Wheel was used (very slightly) from a fellow Rennlister and the bag was new from Carlsen...yeah, it was a little expensive but the leather is nice in an otherwise stark interior. That is why the wood...to warm it up a little. Plus I like the feel of the hardwood when I grab the shifter.

Don,

The unit is up hidden from my eyes by the mirror. The rear radar window is open to the rear because of the angle. The passenger can see the whole thing. I do that so as not to block any of the windshield.

BTW...I used to live in Sacto before moving up here to the wet NW. I lived in Land Park and hung out at Ron Kain's shop: IPB-Autosport and stop by when I am in town.

Cheers

You guys certainly don't help a brother stop spending money on his car !!!

To all you guys with non-airbag steering wheels, how did you handle the airbag light ???

Here is my 993 insides..... PO did the steering (GT Sport from AJ-USA, Inc.) wheel and aluminum shift **** and break lever. I added XM radio (antenna on rear shelf) and sound upgrade, note sub's behind seats and amp under the passenger seat.

Finally, I figured out how to get the pix up.
I just love these cars!!
