John - I think GT Racing carries these (www.gt-racing.com).

Check w/ Rennlister "Cahrera" (I think that's the spelling). That is his car in the picture.

John,

To complete that cool retro 1973 911/993 RS I have custom made 993 ducktail that I can sell to you.

PM or e-mail me if you're interested.

John,

I've seen them on Ebay, too. If you do this, please report back on the quality of materials and the installation. Weird as it might seem, I have been considering this side logo also.

Kelly,

Quality is pretty good it has a 7yr warranty against fading and cracking.
Installation wasn't too bad. A buddy of mine helped me put it on. It's pretty much like any other vinyl decal as far as installing it.

How was it going over the clear piece in front of the rear fender? Also, does it come precut? Do you happen to have any closeup photos you could share?

Hope you don't mind other's going for the same look.

Going over the clear piece was fine, no problems there. I knew sooner or later people would want to do the script. I told Paul it was ok to use the picture of my car for his advertising. At least folks know I was the originator to use the Present "Carrera" script style it's not the same script used on the 73' RS so that's what I did to make myself different. It's my RETRO look.
