I am talking to them about a 96 TT looks good from the pics and carfax. Any info would be a great help.

A typical Springfield MO outfit ... low mileage cars, top dollar prices ... affiliated with April Miller ... www.aprilmiller.com (identical inventories). Same league as Willhoit, Premier, etc. They get very nice cars, demand top dollar, an independent PPI is a must ... these guys are sharks, but they get good cars. I don't know why Springfield is such a hotbed for exotic car dealers, but it is.

Do yourself a favor and insist on talking to the former owner. There has been at least one documented instance where one of the Springfield dealers sold a heavily restored car as original and neglected to disclose the restoration. From my conversations with a couple of them, they seem to operate on the theory that if you don't ask, they don't have to say.
