What tires you wouldn't buy?
After collecting very valuable suggestions in my last post, I tried to buy Bridgestone S03 (Front 215/45/17 and Rear 255/40/17). Unfortunately, there won't be any 255/40/17 for at least 2 months!
So, instead of asking what tires you would buy, I have to ask what tires you wouldn't buy (so that I can at least buying terrible tires). BTW, I quickly checked what's available and found:
- Yokohama 102 (never heard of this model)
- Dunlop SP9000
- Pirelli's (still checking model)
- Continental(same as above)
- Goodyear (same as above)
My 993 driving will be: (95% street, 5% track), (70% dry, 30% wet), durability not a major concern.
Thanks & Merry Christmas!

John,
Since you cannot get hold of the Bridgestones, suggest you stick with the Pirellis.(Assuming they are P zeros)
Yokohamas-never heard of them too
Dunlop SP9000-grip limits are low but they are comfortable
Goodyears-even the F1s are relatively old in design and technology
Continentals- unless they are continentinal sports contact II, forget about it cos they are slippery when wet!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
P.S. Why dont you try tirerack?

Leslie, thanks for the suggestion about Tirerack. Unfortunately, I don't think they ship overseas.
I will Pirelli P-Zero's, but I heard that they are kind of noisy.
