PPI Checklist attached for any car shoppers
I just revised a PPI checklist and I thought I'd share with anyone who may find it of use. A good shop should be happy to fill it out. Of course, feel free to use, publish, and redistribute to your heart's content!

Hi Eric,
That is a great checklist. There is also an excellent article on the Pelican site, written by our friend the late Paul Lighthill: http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...repurchase.htm

Wimp, (sorry, YOU chose the name)
Last time I did it, I paid about $120 including compression test and full alignment rack analysis. Total was about 2 hrs. I'm getting a car inspected next week and I was quoted 2 hrs including compression test for $140. I've heard of people paying $200, but if a shop tries to charge you much more, run away.
