Option Code 240 - Inferior Fuel
Does everyone have this on their USA car? I can understand why CA may require this (91 octane), but why in the midwest would this be the case (93 octane). Since 93 octane is the owner's manual recommendation, I don't think I'm putting in inferior fuel.
And, assuming there's a performance benefit if I have proper fuel, how does one undelete this option to obtain the benefit? Chip? Something else more expensive? Do you need to do anything?
