Unhappy PCNA / PCA $100 discount postcard

Has anyone used theirs? Is its use limited to the individual named on it?

I ask since I've (hopelessly)lost mine and I'm giving some serious consideration to begging to someone who's not going to use it.

I called PCNA, they said call PCA. So I do, and PCA says "no replacements". PCA also indicated they'll be issuing another one in January 2003.

When I used mine, they did check the name and PCA number that was on the front.

I can't wait for the next one!! I got a new set of brake pads and other misc items last time. I've already planned out what I am going to get the next time around.

Greg, I got mine about a month ago. You should call PCA and ask about yours.

FYI: Brumos Porsche will give an additional $40 credit to a $200 order with the use of your certificate.

Question

Brumos will do a mail order transaction with the certificate?

That is my question as well. I want to get a factory strut brace, but I hate my local dealer.

I called and they will not issue a replacement certificate as it was sent to the same address as my Pano. Can't imagine that I would have thrown it away. Oh well.

I just answered my question (or Brumo's did).

Yes, they will honor the coupon for mail order.

Strut brace, here I come!

Thanks for the Brumos tip.

Might just get a set of front brake rotors; present set (even tho are cryo-frozen) are not lasting at all that well.

Ray

Phil at Suncoast has said he will match the Brumos deal (Suncoast is always my preference).

Thanks for the FYI regarding Brumos. The local dealer makes it a real PITA to place an order. Good thing they keep losing customers.

I used mine and combined it with the PCA discount (15% I think) to buy a complete set of OEM brake pads for $125.

Hell of a deal I thought.
