Default Sold my 98' Cabriolet Today....

Checks in the bank and she's gone (bye bye). It is a beautiful Cab and we shared 3 wonderful years together. I'll miss her, but the call of spooling turbos are beckoning....

So....tomorrow morning at 6 AM I'm jumpin on a plane to the Bay area to pick up my just purchased 96 TT. The car's well known to BAR members, and both it's past owners are on this forum. I'll let them identify themselves if they choose. It's been taken care of by Viper Bob the past 4 years and he speaks highly of her.... So here's a photo or two:

Thanks and I couldn't agree more...

Everyone should read the "DREAM COME TRUE" thread by jcaibe on the 993 Turbo forum. Talk about a great Christmas....

Talking Phil, Lighten Up....

The guy hasn't even put his butt in the seat yet! Let the kid (John Sr.) live out his dream; its the Holiday, dare I say the Christmas word ? The really sick part...John and I are racing buddies, and him driving this TT car and me in NA will drive me nuts. We'll all be at the track, and Phil, me and the other 993 guys will have to put up with John Sr. smoking us down the main straight.

Since John told me of his plan a few days ago, I find myself looking at the Auto Trader for a TT car...please stop me now before it is too late! Noooooooo not another slippery slope! If you see my car in the classifieds, you know I have gone over the edge.

And for those of you 993 owners that have not driven a TT car. Do not do this. It is very habit forming.

Wow! Funny I forgot to ask any of that stuff. I just called Viper Bob and he said "just buy it", so I did!

Great work John. Can't wait to see it.

Martin . . . this does not sit well for us does it? In no way, shape or form!

Congrats... You will love it. I'm sorry that I will not be around tomorrow when you stop by the shop for the oil change. I will see you though in a couple of weeks. Now it is off to Boston for Holidays with the wife's family... Oh yeah

Let me guess. It's Jeff Chan/Joe Ramos's car... It's a great car and I'm sad to see it leave this area... My car will miss it's twin although I'm slowly entertaining thoughts of selling mine...
