A Reminder About Copyrighted Materials - Please Read...
It has been brought to my attention that a few of you have posted “free download” links to material that is copyrighted. Please do not do that on Rennlist! As a reminder, while these forums are “unmoderated” (in other words – a “Moderator” doesn’t approve or disapprove a post before it appears in the Forums), we will delete posts that contain these links to these downloads when/if we find them or they are brought to our attention. Some of the offending materials might include things like scanned copies of the Porsche Workshop Manuals, illegal copies of the PET CD, scanned/PDF converted books which you have purchased, etc.
Please keep in mind that if you do not have express permission from the holder of the copyright to re-distribute the information, you don’t have permission to make them freely available.

Actually, I believe Ray is years younger than Ken Lay. In any event, attitudes (positive or negative) are not necessarily age (or generation) linked
and copyright violative links can create liability issues for Rennlist.

As someone who is guilty of posting a link to a pirate copy of Pet I would wish to appologize to the board for my indescretion. As one who lives in Music City and knows many song writers I am an avowed opponent of the concept of Napster i.e. protection of intellectual property. It is ashame however that a legal/copyrighted PET CD is not commercially available.
