Guys,
Coincidently I was speaking to Bilstein tech support today about a rear drop link (but that's another story). The gentleman I was speaking to mentioned that Bilstein was coming out with a replacement or add in top perch for the 993 rears. He acknowledged that using monoballs, if one chose to do so, was not an acceptable solution for most people.
When I asked if it would be offered up to current Pss-9 owners, he said yes, but at (maybe) their cost. No indication of when this might occur.

One other observation/question:
As a relatively new p-car owner, I find this board a constant source of enjoyment and education. Whenever I'm contemplating an upgrade to my car, I always look to 3 sources - Rennlist, p-car.com and the shop manual. Most people here and on Robin's site offer up really good info, graciously given, but sometimes, you have to sift through a lot of information, misinformation and differing objectives.
What I do for any project that I'm about to start is to print out the various threads here or the DIY from Robin's site and read through them to determine my best course of action. I also sometimes e-mail folks directly (thanks, E. J. and Ray) to ask specific questions or share ideas/alternatives.
Would it be possible to have a "best practices" section for the various upgrade projects, one that gets updated as new, relevant info comes to light? (Maybe there is already one and I'm unaware of it.) Don't know if this would better fit on this board or on p-car.com.
Forgive my early morning ramblings. And thanks for making this a good place to hang out.
