You're absolutely correct. Lowering intake temps will increase power because the engine will take less timing. But i believe Jdoc7 was concerned for safety of the engine so i was answering his question in that aspect.

Shant,

I think gtech quote accuracy to about .1s on 1/4. It certainly felt that quick. :-). Anyway I compared the peak speed on the gtecpro against a gps and it was within a 1or2 mph. I'm also being a little conservative when I say 310 rwhp :-)

The primary reason the lower temps produce more power is the fact that colder air has more Oxygen allowing more fuel to be injected.

I think there is another high-volume poster here who claims those RWHP on pump gas with a non-intercooled TPC unit...
