However, an intercooler will ALWAYS provide more power to the engine because you are feeding more O2 into the cylinders. You will find that if you can reduce the air temp substantially it will give you more power than increasing the boost 1-2 psi.
I use an aftercooler, but I am also pumping 6 - 7 lbs of boost in a static 11.3:1 engine.

I think gtech quote accuracy to about .1s on 1/4. It certainly felt that quick. :-). Anyway I compared the peak speed on the gtecpro against a gps and it was within a 1or2 mph. I'm also being a little conservative when I say 310 rwhp :-)
