1997 C4S Value
I'm looking at (possibly) selling my 97 C4S and was wondering what the current value is...I've read that retails have dropped lately, and would appreciate some honest feedback on what to expect. Anyway, here goes...
1997 C4S Guards Red/Cashmere
Sport Seats, Hi-Fi, motorsound, alum door sills, rear wiper
1353 miles
Original owner, never driven in rain, etc.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Nothing less than $60k for a car with so few miles... Someone like RPM, Sloan, Premier, Wilhoitte, etc would probably list this car for close to $70k.

If I only liked red - wow 1300 miles. I too have heard prices dropped a bit. On a few cars I called on that were by private sellers, they were willing to negotiate.

For what its worth, I remember a thread a few weeks ago where someone had indicated that auction prices for the right 993's had been increasing. Would be nice if anyone had access to Manheim results so they could post them.
Less than 2000 miles on a C4S, are you kidding me! You won't have any problem getting rid of that car.

Bill, Sorry to be the one to tell you the truth but you can forget about $60K no way, the car is too old for that. It's worth $50 very top. No more, now if you want to sell it and avoid all of the hassles just PM me and I'll buy it and poof you are done and $50K richer. Call me crazy, call me irresponsible but I'll give you 50 just because I'm a good guy...
And don't listen to these people what do they know.

$69,500 for a '97 C4S?? I find that completely laughable. I've seen mid-mileage 993 TT's sell for less.
I can't understand why anybody would pay $65k-$70k for those cars when you can EASILY get a '96 C4S with 40k miles for $48k. Using this as a baseline, I'd add $2k for being a year newer, plus $7,500 for the low mileage (since the 993 market values mileage at $0.20/mile), for a total of $57,500. But apparently some people will pay a hefty premium for super-low mileage. Just my $0.02

Still holding out for the PM Bill....
No I didn't think so, I was kidding, it's worth 60 easy. About the auction prices were the C4 prices listed C4S's? Thanks for posting those, are they fact?
