Sure, in his DREAMS!

A 3.6 with no forced induction will not ever get even close to 500lbs. Moreover, what's with the "915" tranny? 911s from '87 up had G50s. This guy is definitely "optimistic."

Like the car and all the cool hardware, but did you catch the 350HP part? Maybe he means its the equivalent of 500 ft/lbs since the car is that much lighter than the typical 993??

I think this car belongs to LA Dismantlers in Los Angeles. On their website, they said they'd be welcomed to give people test drives.

Forget the ride, how about some dyno graphs. If you can trust enought that you get the correct graph.

350hp and 500ft/lb torque on a n/a 993 motor? Not even close, even when measured in newton-meters!
Since when did Porsche make turbo-diesel motors???

Maybe it's a 30 year old turbo kit:
I guess it's possible on a 993 motor if he lowered the compression to 6.5 : 1, bolted on a tiny turbocharger (K24?), cranked up the boost to 25psi, and used a single 1 3/4" exhaust pipe!
Those would be the required mods for the approximate hp/torque claim above.
