I almost threw my name in the hat to make the drive down, but figured it was too hard. (I had my in-lows visiting and a mandatory Scout event at 5:30 am Sunday). Please post when you're getting ready to go again, I'll try and come down for that.

Sure Joe. No problem. KDURG who's from north east of Richmond always comes down here for the run. Maybe you can hook up with him.
The folks up there in the tri state area do a lot of fun drive too. I will surely be joining them on their next run. I'm sure KDurg will try to do that too.

While it is harder to get away from congestion here, absolutely, there are some great runs in the area. I may be missing it, but most happen on Sundays, and that is always a tough day for me - lots of family events. Can't have it all

Alan, Thanks mate. How's the Porsche scene there? Do you guys do some weekend runs? Been to Freemantle and Sydney(Opposite sides), sure looks like a lot of fun roads to drive.
