Hi all,

I am looking for 993 RSR info and it looks like Excellence has a few issues that MIGHT have what I'm looking for. I was wondering if anyone out there can confirm that the following issues really deal with the 993 RSR:

Issue 48: Oct 94 - Carrera RSR 3.8 (this one might be the 964 RSR)

Issue 68/69: Apr/May 97 - Carrera RS & RSR (parts 1 & 2)

More of a long shot is:

Issue 56: Nov 95 - Carrera RS

If anyone can confirm that these articles are related to the 993 RSR, I will order the back issues.

Man, your outta luck across the board.

Issue 48 is indeed the 964 RSR.

Issue's 68/69 are on the early RSR's.

Issue 56 is not Nov - it is issue 57. It covers a wonderful yellow 993 RS. Great write up, lots of pages. Looks just like Rennlister Phil's 993 RS.

Sorry, but the 993 RSR content in all 4 of these issues is limited to maybe one sentence.

Not sure what you're after but there's a British magazine called GT Purely Porsche which featured the 993 RSR in their April 2002 issue. If you're not familiar with this publication, it features some of the most incredible photography of any Porsche magazine and they love to pay tribute to the truly special variants like the RSR. Their Back Issue hotline is +44 (0)1732 748084. It's a wonderful piece on the RSR and includes numerous specs.

They also have a website. I don't know it off hand but if you type in GT Purely Porsche in a search engine, you should get it no problems. Good luck!
