Default Very OT: Need pricing help on 1921 Buick hardtop with rumble seat

A client of one of my colleague's wants to sell a 1921 Buick hardtop car with a rumble seat that I'm thinking of buying. It's supposedly in great condition and runs very well. He wants to sell it for $10,000. Sounds pretty low. Any idea on pricing or, besides Hemmings.com, where I can find out how to price this? Hemmings didn't have any comparable models.

Thanks for any help!

Try the Antique Automobile Club of America
http://www.aaca.org/

Also the Buick Club of America

(hint: do a search on Google for "Antique Cars" and see what you get, then go to those sites. It's how I came up with these. I'll let you do the rest of the work.)

Hey, Mark, while you can certainly improve it, I don't think that it will lend itself to the kind of modification as you've been performing. Graphics + rumble seat, hmm.

Mark,

First of all, I'm shocked to see you posted on a topic so wildly OT. Second, do I smell a street rod in your future? You won't be able to run that baby at the Glen.

seege - Single speed with coaster brakes

Ray - Thanks for the links. I'm going to have to register on those boards and post questions since a search therre didn't reveal anything.

Joe - Michelin has a set of 105/125-36 tires that I may slap on it and bring the car to the track.

Mike - How come I can't do a DE in it?? I know it sounds completely off the wall for someone like me to buy an old man car like this, but if research proves that this car is undervalued, I may snag it and see if I can turn a profit on it.
