Default Radio Reset - New Battery (Searched first)

Did a search but could not find the info. I want. Replaced OEM battery with a DieHard. Radio now says "CODE." I have a Becker card from the PO which is titled "Ident-Karte." It has a number that appears to be a S/N. I presume this is not the "radio code." Is there supposed to be another Becker card with the "radio code" for that unit? Or, is the radio code part of the S/N? Thanks.

The radio code is 4 digits and not part of the s/n. It usually is on a card that says "Anti-Theft Vehicle Program". If a beep sounds when you are entering the code, stop and begin a new entry starting with the first digit. If you do make a mistake, push the BAND button for 2 seconds and you can start again. But, the time required to allow you to try again will increase by 15 min intervals each time you make a mistake. AK

Thanks. I am now sure I do not have the code. Will have to contact Becker.
