Hi Guys
Can someone tell me how to post a personal Avatar to the site.
I fancy seeing a pic of my 993 instead of just my name.

Hi Chris,
Go to "my profile" (top of page below the "post topic" porsche image) and then "View/Update profile" and then the link to "select a different avatar image"

After you change the avatar link, be sure that you click "update profile" on the page before, otherwise, the changes won't stick.

Had to do it a few times before I figured this out.

How can I add my own avatar like so many do here? I don't have any web-based photos to provide a link to. But I have pleny on my hard drive. Please advise. Thanks.

I could never get it to work either, e-mail Jen or call her on the phone at Rennlist. She got mine done for me. Nice lady, that Jen. Having my son and car on here is fun. He is where I got my screen name, he's William T. Including him made Mom happy. Remember:

As Kim said, use the "upload photo" link at top, choose your pic from your hard drive and write down or copy the link that is supplied to you after uploading. You type (or paste) that exact link into the Avatar section of your profile. So basically, whenever you want to post pictures from your hard drive, you need to upload the pics and store the address for later use.
