After a severe discussion with my insurance they agreed to repaint the complete car (first they only wanted to repaint the damaged parts but I insisted that if there was any difference in colour they will redo the paint job).
The body shop (a friend of mine) has agreed to take the two windows out and take care of the windshield rust spot.
and will install/paint the turbo S scoops.
So that's the good news....
The bad news is that I have a rattle in the gear box at low rpm. Have any of you guys an idea what the cost (hours labor) is to rebuild the gearbox?
TIA
regards

Good news about the repaint and rust removal.
If the gearbox cost is high, I know of a rebuilt G50/32... from a 993 RSCS with steel synchros etc. Located in Germany. Could be a good occasion to install a Light weight Flywheel, RS clutch and pressure plate. Enjoy your Christmas....your GF has a nice 964 :-)
Not cheap but if they take your old box back as exchange???. Let me know if interested.
