these are the 18" dunlop winter sport m3 on sport design 7/12 $ 10. these tires are superb- highly recommended for foul weather porsche driving.

i hear you. as i certainly see the arguement for keeping them dry, it's just more difficult to do when living anywhere BUT florida or cal. anyway, there's no convincing me that the best place for my car is in the garage. i've found that these tires truly allow me to 'almost' fully enjoy the 911 as much as when it's riding on the PS2s. it's handling and predictablity is somewhat boring, actually. my high school amc concord superwagon (w/wood paneling) was far more fun in the snow than this 911. the porsche is like a really high performance tractor.
