David,
Can you please say more about the jeweler's glass polish? I'd like to replace my lenses, but my DIY skills are two-below-toad. Polishing I may be able to manage.
All,
I once paid a visit to 993/Q45 in San Luis Obispo, and he had his very early build and 60,000 mile 993TT backed into his garage. When he opened the garage door, I couldn't believe how "fresh" his car looked... showroom new. He explained that he had just replaced the headlight lenses. Wow. What an amazing difference it made.
I want to fix mine!

Hi Chris,
Sorry for the delay. The place I bought the 3m protection fim was http://www.vehicleprotectionfilms.com
You would think I would be able to remember that... Oh well.

I used a 10x18 for the headlights and a 6 x 18 for the fogs. I used the 40 mil headlight film on both. The fogs are lower and might take more rocks, so 80 mil might be good for those. My main goal was to avoid taping up my headlights for each track session.
You might want to make a paper template of what you want to cover and then measure it out. I covered just the smaller, almost flat portion of the headlight. If you decide to cover more, you may need different sizes.
Best of luck.
