Ever wonder if PMS stands for Porsche Mechanical Syndrome?

I mean, really, sometimes I wonder about my car. I know my car has a soul, but PMS? Gheez! Mercury Retrograde is wreaking havoc. Or maybe it's just me, maybe I have PMS? No, it must be the car, but you all know that I certainly can't ask her, all Hades would break loose!!

Yesterday my dash lit up like Rockefeller Center at Christmas! I had 4 red lights, 1 green light, and a nice warm amber light. Pretty, but freakin' scary!

Cause = alternator belt broke. But really now, does she need to make such a spectacle?!?!? Talk about drama queen!! Wow!!

I need a beer!

Porsche Mechanical Syndrome/PMS. Coincidence? Ha! Proven FACT!! I always wondered what that was all about. If I can just figure out which one of us has it. Maybe both. I don't know!! But it drives me freakin' crazy!!! Gosh darn, freaking, UGH!!!

Just tell me it's the belt!! Don't tell me it's 5 other things all at once!!

Mine did that three times in one month, 'til I found that I had a bent alternator shaft that was breaking the belt.
What I find amusing/scary is the big red " ! " light that comes on simultaneously with the reserve gas light. Though with the price of super unleaded these days, perhaps the exclamation isn't totally inappropriate.
