Congratulations on keeping the car JB. I never thought I'd be saying this at this point in time but I may be selling mine soon to fund investment opportunities. My wife knows how much it means to me and thinks I should keep it. I'm grateful for that so thought I'd post and tell ya I understand your situation. I plan to make a decision after the holidays. If I do sell, my goal would be to return to Porsche ownership in a few years in another 993 (Turbo?).

jbuchsba--glad you get to keep the car and FWIW, your amp is a JL Audio looks like a 250/2--JL makes terrific amps and I'm guessing that this one is a 2 channel of some sort--can't tell exactly by the pics, but looks like the PO didn't mess around with quality in the audio system either

Great for you that you can keep the car. It seems that beautiful cars with tasteful mods aren't selling so fast right now, or at least here in Chicago as I'm learning. Enjoy it!

Thats a great looking car, I remeber seeing it and meeting you in the Cars For Sale paddock at Hershey this past spring. I knew then you didnt want to part with it based on the price you were offering it at. Glad to see you're getting to keep it.

Unhappy Well....after all that, I'm selling her.

If you want a good car, try pca.org 8686. Moving and need the money for a house down payment. That simple. Wife and multiple other family members convinced me .....parents, in-laws, etc.

And I had just put on new Michelin Pilot Sport 265/35-18's in the rear about 100 miles ago!

UG!!!!

Well, shoot. Someone is going get a great car. I bought my 993 a few months ago. My last 911 was twenty-five years ago. It took awhile to get back again but I did. So will you.

By the way...what kind of side skirts this car has installed? They look really nice!

Default side skirts are techart

TechArt made the side skirts. The PO put them on, and they did a really great job of it...there is a piping of material under the main part of the side skirt...a lot of labor went into the install.

Sold.

Thanks all. I am so sad, but the buyer is the kind of person who will really take care of the car and drive it hard the way it was meant to be drivien.

Will come back to a 993 some day.....

Thank you everyone for the help. For what it is worth, it was sold in < 12 h on the classified section.....about 14 total serious people were in contact with me. There were a few insultingly low offers...but not many.
