I wonder if because of the placement of the facility, Dallas will have an inordinant number of Rufs? I wonder if they would hire a bozo to hang around, drink coffee and watch the others do their magic? I could run them down to the carwash and vacumm out the interiors, I suppose.

Hey guys. There were no Boxster variants. However, I did get to see photos of the second R50 prototype and sketches of the final product. It sure ain't no Boxster... There is a RUF supercharger package for the Boxster coming. It's ready to go...
And John H., from what I saw, there won't be any dirt getting in to need vacuming out... hehehe...

The guys that run that store are great. I've known two of them for at least 4 to 5 years. One was my service advisor at the local dealer. The best part about them is that all three of the proprietors are track enthusiasts. They are regulars at the local DE's. They will get my business just so that I can stare at the goodies.
BTW, the black CTR2 belongs to Steve Beddor’s father. Steve has a yellow CTR2 that he club races. He actually beat everyone at the TMS club race this year in his CTR2, including the 996 Cupcars. And yes, his car is street legal.

I second George's comments. I've known Hans, Wayne, Bob and Jackie for 5 years (Jackie for 2) and they are great guys.
Jackie (principal investor) has a great story. A little over a year ago he takes his 996 cab out to a DE and gets hooked. Goes to the dealership after that weekend and puts a deposit on a GT3. As soon as it comes in he's at the track with that car. Within a few more months he's in talks with Alois Ruf to open RUF Autocentre in Dallas. A couple months after that he now owns a RUF dealership and late model Porsche service shop.
Talk about a slippery slope!!!!!
I encourage all the N.Texas 993'ers to seriously consider this shop for work on your car. Here's hoping they will have great success and be with us for years to come!

James,
How about the first one here:
http://www.rufautocentre.com/usedcars/index.asp
A real Ruf and a cab. The owner of that one also has a Peter Gregg signed 930 Turbo that's just incredible.
