Has anyone installed the Ruf interior rollcage which is bound in leather. Ruf claims it is unobtrusive, but I was wondering if anyone had any real world experience with it. I asked Ruf for some information on it, and the stuff I got in the mail does not show clear pictures of what it looks like from the inside. Instead, they just give some type of schematic picture of what it would look like on the inside. Thank you.

From what I've read, this roll cage is only installed by RUF at their factory. It is not available as an aftermarket part.

could it be installed at the Stephania shop in NJ?

Andrew, I talked with two RUF shops here (on in US and one in Canada) about this and emailed RUF in Germany. They confirmed that the cage is only done when they received a "body in white" or do a complete conversion at the factory. I was quite bummed.

Check out this site. This company in CA did the roll bar and it looks awesome, I imagine they could do the same type of work you want but they are a few miles away . Shop's name is S-car-go.

That's my buddies car, the roll-bar looks great! It took some time to get it all done but the finished result was worth it. Fun car to drive. He has had a bunch of stuff done at S-Car-Go.
