Post Ignition Coil Tolerances

In my seemingly unending quest to get the check engine light to stay off, I reached the point in the diagnosis where the manual says to check the coils. Manual states that resistance between terminals 1 & 15 should be .4 - .6 ohms at 20C and should be 5.0 - 7.2 K ohms between terminals 1 and 4.

I got .7 ohms between terms 1 and 15 and 8.72K between 1 and 4 at 33C.

My initial inclination is that these are fundamentally within spec, especially given the temperature difference (although I would've guessed that resistance would DECREASE at the higher temperature).

What do you guys think? Is this a material variance?

Thumbs up

I would consider these values within tolerances - search elsewhere for the problem
