Tires Cheap
An FYI for anyone in need of tires:
Yesterday, I was in Costco and noticed they finally had tires in "our" size
While I'm not in the immediate need of rubber, I was suprised to see BFG KD G-Force in 255/40/17 for $169 and Bridgestone RE 730 for $159. Granted, they don't have these same tires in our front sizes, but I just thought I'd post if anyone is "in the need." Good prices, I think, and without having to mail order to save some bucks

Yep – I got my last set of BFG KD’s at Costco, for the same price listed on Tire Rack’s web page, but no shipping charges. They didn’t have any in stock, and had to order them (and each of the four tires has a separate part number). It took less than a week for them to arrive, and I didn’t have to pay any deposit ahead of time. The installation seems to have been done quite competently, with no wheel scratches, weights falling off, or balance problems. I think I got free flat repairs, and I can go back for a free rotation any time I want!
