Just got an email from Porsche with a link to the "Engineering Symphony" site:

This site has sound recordings and videos of the Turbo, GT2, and Carrera GT.
Man, does the Carrera GT sound sweet! Too bad my bank account lacks the zeroes needed for one.

WOW! That Carerra GT sound is incredible! I'm making a recording of it right now and will crank it up on the HiFi a little later...
Remember the old Maxell (I think..) commercial with the guy sitting in the recliner in front of a pair of huge speakers? That will be me in about 10 minutes!

Heh, heh, I can feed audio from my computer to my stereo, so I was busy putting the Carrera GT through its paces at full volume.
The sound was almost as sweet as that Ferrari video someone posted a couple of weeks ago.
