Post Repainting car (part 2)...

Am bringing my car to the Porsche dealer today for the speed yellow conversion.
They propose to proceed as follows:
1) remove engine, suspension, etc.
2) spray the inside and the car
3) put engine, etc. all back into the car
At this point, looking at the car from the outside it is still the original color. Only if you lift the front hood or engine compartment do you see the new color.
4) The body is then dismantled ( doors, etc)
5) spray the car
6) reassemble the body, replacing any old rubber parts as needed

Takes about 5 weeks. When early March, after a long grey winter, spring returns to Switzerland and the fields turn green and are sprinkled with yellow flowers, a speed yellow 993 will turn up as well.

You're going at it all wrong. When I was a young lad, there was a paint shop chain in the NYC area called Earl Scheib. Used to run TV commmercials even; their motto was "We'll paint ANY car - for $29.95"!

Think you ought to see if you can find their Swiss outlet.

Question

RS,

I'm curious, how much you have to pay for that?

Uuh... quite expensive, although close what I was expecting. No worries about the CD
