I know this one has probably been beatin' to death, but hey it's Friday and my search didn't bring much up on 9's and 11's specifically. I'm trying to figure out what the "proper" tire size is for 9's and 11's. I see Tire Rack lists 225/40-18's and 295/30-18's, which is what I currently have on the car. Now I've heard from others that I should be running 245's in the front, however my car is lowered with no lip roll and I'm thinking that a 245 wouldn't fit without some fender work. Comments?

Use 245's on the front. You won't have any issue if you have the right wheels.

Were those 9" in front? Always thought they were 8" or 8.5" at most...

996 TT are 8 and 11 wheels. I'm getting a set of 9 and 11s for my car for track wheels. This should give me the nice range of tires to choose from.
