Real World Note:

I recently bought one of these racing jacks from a List vendor who, typically, "jacked" my price up for a little Porsche-style profiteering. Despite that ripoff, I have to say it's a nice piece. For the prices being quoted, it's a great acquisition.

Re a couple of your Qs-- personally I find it way too big to put in the car. In a trailer or tow vehicle, yes. For those drives to the local track, I still use a cheapo Target 2-ton jack with the front wheels removed so I can clear my very low 993. Works great. Second point: I hope everyone understands that a $350 knock-off is not in any sense equivalent to a $1,200 Longacre or other top-notch NASCAR-quality racing jack. It isn't. I suspect this thing will wear out a lot sooner. Still, at this price, it's a nifty piece of equipment for your garage or trailer.

tbernard,

I arrived at BWI from Phoenix at 4:11 PM today. COSTCO was an easy 10 minute drive
south of the airport. Your directions were good. When I arrived at COSTCO there were
six aluminum floor jacks in blue plus the demo. When I left at 5:20 PM there was one
less.

The box is wrapped in plastic with two strong bands around it, perfect for checking as luggage for my trip back home.

Thanks for the heads-up on this find!

Regards,
George
