Default Best place to source clear lenses... anyone have a pair?

hi..
ive read all the posts on clear indicator lights. I dont know where to get them at a good price or find the shorten US length (i have bumperettes).
I called AJUSA and they are out of stock in US size and quoted me $239 for euro size.
Pellican and FVD quoted $179 for eurosize and short length is not available.
Anywhere else i should try, or anyone have an extra set or a short length?
thanks
rob

I have a pair of euro clear lenses for sale, but I see that you want the shorter U.S. version.

Haven't people cut the euro versions down themselves? I'm almost sure I've heard of this being done.

I bought set of the Eruo size from Departstop for $109 on ebay. Then I busted out the dremel cut them down and siliconed them. They came out prefect. If you have a little patience and a dremel tool its a pretty easy DIY. Just use the old amber ones as a template.

Even the ones you buy from AJ USA are cut euro lenses.

Hmm...maybe if you have time you can start a little service in dremeling the euro ones. Seeing that the shortened ones are going for $250 on Ebay, we can buy the euro version, send them to you for dremel-ling (for a moderate fee of course), and then sent back. Kind of like Robin's RSRs. I'm sure there will be a decent demand for this here. That $$ you make can go directly to the mod fund!

So...what ya think??

Thats fine I would be open to doing that. Just as long there is demand for it. What do you think a reasonable fee would be? $40-$50?

Rob,

I have one side, brand new, never installed, bought from Performance Products, shortened version. I don't remember off the top of my head what side it is, I'll check tonight when I get home. PM me if you want it.

Rob, I have a set that I shortened - don't need with new bumper w/out bumperette. The cut side rests right against the bumperette and you really don't see it. If interested pm me.

After thinking it over a bit. I will be offering a lense shortening service to rennlisters. If anyone is interested in having their Eruo clear lenses shorted to accomodate the bumperettes. Please PM me.

Thanks
Brian

A new surge of interest... I just bought a cut set from Departstop..I have yet to put them on but they seem to be cut cleanly and sized appropriately. I just need to find the SilverVision bulbs....or the like...Anyone have any leads?

Just spray some 1157 amber bulbs with a light coat of high heat silver paint. Works great for me!
