Yep, now you see my problem... sickness really! I have to slow down or the HWFMR membership will never happen for me... <<sniff>> ;-)
Maybe its just that I'm hoping that by having the wing to stare at, it might bring we good luck in finding the right car... ;-)

I'd like an RS rear wing too. I've had good luck with MA Shaw, but the others have good reputations as well.
Please keep me in this loop. I'd like to try a group buy myself, but I just moved, and can't find anything but cardboard.

Okay, it seems like there is enough interest in a GB. We will need a volunteer to be the point man to contact the vendors and see if any of them would be interested in supplying the wings or splitters.
Usually, the point man takes delivery of the goods then forwards them to the interested parties. If not for the fact that I live in Hawaii and it wouldn't make sense for me to take delivery here, I would be more than willing to approach the vendors. I do feel, however, that someone close to the sources would be a better choice.
Any volunteers?

I have a Getty Design RS wing on my car as does my neighbor. Neither one of us has any reservations about recommending Getty Design, BUT, Arnold Getty is not a Rennlsit sponsor, MA Shaw is. Perhaps we have a MA Shaw RS wing owner on the list and they will testify to the quality of the RS wing. MA Shaw has a great reputation in SoCal, and across the US for that matter.
In addition to the Getty RS wing, I have factory RS side skirts and factory RS front splitters. The reason I don't have all factory, cost. I was piece mealing the orders to keep the expense off the home radar screen. Gert offers special pricing for the complete kit which saves a few $s. But with the dollar weak against the Euro, I don't know how expensive the RS aero parts are.
In conclusion, note that according to the Factory RS Technical booklet which is also available from Gert, the 993 RS at 170 mph has 0 lift. Technically, the RS aero kit is brilliant in my opinion, very functional, but not too ostentatious.

Hi Everyone,
I have a Getty contact and we are working on getting pricing together for those that are interested in the Carrera RS tail in Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass. If you want the front splitters I can also put that in the list. The best thing to do is PM or send me email at blksand@msn.com once we have the #s.
Thanks,
Scott

Mahalo, Scott!!
Will be waiting...
As a price point, I've emailed Mike at MAShaw in the past and the price discount was $550 to any Rennlist member.

Since I live pretty close to Mike Shaw, I can give him a call and see what he can do for a bakers dozen of each
I think there is some relation between Getty and MaShaw(?)

Eh Brah! (KKim) Is $550.00 the price for the Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass tail. I'm checking to see what kind of price we can for CF or Glass. Also someone was asking about the RS splitters so if we add that to the order we might be able to get more of a discount.....hopefully.
Chris, I believe you're right that MaShaw and Getty are related somehow.
Mahalo,
Scott
