I am thinking the Starbucks by the Target store in Southcenter. It is real easy to get to from both I5 and 405.
I think leaving right at 7:15 AM from there will have us in good shape to get to Bremerton by 8:15. Check in is 8 to 8:45 AM so we should be good.
Hope to see you there.
I will send out a map once we get a head count for the Starbucks and also cell numbers so we all can coordinate.

Hey David and Tom,
Yup, it is a PCA NW event that I am thinking is full. If you are a PCA member, try emailing Jana to see if there are openings.
Both Jeff and I tried to get into the one in August and it was full so we were in line for this event. I am suprised that there are not more events as they all seem to be filled. I am not sure of how the club is run from a finacial/activity/political basis. Seems that the demand would mean the club would add more events. Could be that the same few (very few) people run the events as volunteers and burn out on doing everything...so whay add more.
If you are wanting to meet up to go observe, let me know.
Cheers

I'm pretty certain the event is full. My son will out there in a black VW GTI, keep an eye out for him! For future events you can check the event schedule at http://www.pnwr.org/. The drivers skills class fills up pretty fast. If interested, your best to register at least a month in advance.
Have fun!

I'll send out a map on Friday and set the time...Jeff emailed and suggested 6:45 as we got an email from the Drivers Skills coordinator and the schedule is moved up a little so we don't waste valuable time getting unloaded and set up and the cars positioned.
I am looking forward to the little caravan...strenth in numbers!

OK...as this is kinda the first Seattle area Rennlist caravan, who is bringing the digital camera so we can post pictures to show that indeed P-cars do lurk in our Great Northwest! David, I'll call you tonight.

I'll have our digi camera along as I would also like to get some action shots at the track.
I am heading that way tomorrow to go up to Port Angeles for work so I can time the trip for us.
Cheers!

What a fun weekend- all wet and slick! I learned about the concept of weight transfer first hand when i let up on the throttle going through the slalom and ended up backwards twice! (lesee- that's about a 540 ) Also learned about how slippery-when-wet that VHX (?) drag racing stuff is. yowza!
