Hergesheimer's Does it again at the track...
Mark and Laura Hergesheimer were out at the track with their motorhome, lots of tools, and plenty of advice when needed. They provide incredible hospitality for their friends and customers.
In my humble opinion, the shops that come out to the track to support their customers should be commended, and supported too. It is very comforting to know that if something were to go wrong, from minor to major, you would have a friendly face to speak to. It is also good to know that any performance mods they recommend are based on track experience.
In addition, Laura makes incredible graphics. I have a set of her magnetic numbers on my car. I lift my glass to Hergesheimer Motorsports. Thanks again to mark and Laura.
Best regards,

Agree wholeheartedly, Martin! Mark and Laura are first-class not only in the way they run their business, but in the way they work with people. More than having just had "work" done on my car, they have supported me and my thousand questions during the process AND after completion. Them showing up at events is further evidence of their love/enthusiasm for the sport and the cameraderie they extend to all.
BTW, I extend these Kudos to Dave B. at TRE, as well. More than just "knowing his stuff," he's a great guy to talk to and has always been willing and friendly about sharing his expertise and experience.
No affiliation, of course; just pleased that such enthusiasm and integrity exists in our sport and our little community.

Thank YOU very much, we wouldn't be going out to these events if we didn't enjoy your company. We had a very enjoyable weekend, Mark was able to relax, I was able to have my dinner party, son Eric had a smile on his face all weekend, how much better can it get? It is very rewarding to us personally to attend these type of events and support our customers and friends. We try to help and guide people in the right direction so they can enjoy tracking their car safely. But many of you help support and teach new drivers at many tracks around the country and you are all appreciated.
These guys all helped out my group this wekend and we are very thankful for their friendship.
DJ (now Porscheless, but we forgive him) came out this weekend, at Martin's urging, to instruct a student of ours that had a new GT3 (I am very protective of my customer's cars). We know and love DJ, aprreciate his knowledge and skill. This student recieved hours of one on one instruction with DJ covering so many topics not just "the line". This student raved to us about what a great teacher (he has had others) DJ was, the way he explained things, scenarios, body, feet, hand positions, mindset. He was very impressed and had a great weekend, and learned alot. But DJ also shares himself with anyone that walks up and has questions, he always steps up and help out.
Another jewel is Martin, who will help anyone out any time. He was also teaching at this event and helping out new students and drivers, sharing ideas, experience and knowledge from many years of participation in this kind of event. A valuable asset to the POC group. Thanks for push startin' my kid so many times!!
Mark O, weren't you just a student last week? He has fallen down the slope consistently this past year, but his effort at learning has really paid off. He is now a strong competitor and and shares his knowlege and enthusiasm as a well liked instructor.
Craig W. Nice to see him back out, and instructing as well, making the new guys feel welcome.
If anyone has an inkling to try their car at the track, there are many good solid guys out there that can help you make your day a safe, enjoyable time. Find a shop that you feel comfortable with, that suits your specific needs. And keep on asking for solid recommendations for good safe track events, knowledgeable and experienced instructors (instructor not necessarily fast driver) and capable shops.
PS. RJ - didn't know you were so talented!

I can chime in on their willingness to help, even knowing the job will not be a big one. I talked with Laura when I was looking at a car in OC. She knew I was living out of state and the job would just be a PPI, none the less she offered great advice and took the time to explain all they would be doing to help insure that I would have limited surprises after the purchase. Very good service.
BTW, no takers for that car yet.
Thanks again, Laura.

Wish I could have made it out for that event. Nice to see the quality service people of Mark and Laura go to the track to help out.
Glad to hear all were safe and all had fun, which is the main thing anyways..

Yes, but you can't eat graphics. Laura also makes great fajitas, and home-made salsa! Too bad you guys were in a drivers meeting, instead of eating...

Bagalousisis...no....Balagouza....no...Boozaglu...damned it, no. Screw it, Dave B. LOL!
He also organizes a cool annual New Year's Day Rally, along with some other interesting road trips (like Mexico).
Dave sold me my 993 engine, Mark H. installed it.

Well yes, he does have donuts waiting at the shop on New Year's Day. Cohi, too (though, his cohi maker is painfully slow on a cold January morning).
