JZ or OPC

I've used JZM for the big 24k service and getting the car chipped. Very impressed with them - when i got my phone call after dropping the car off, it was a refreshingly honest call - you don't need xy and z yet, you could do x but it will last longer if you wish...... etc.
My 993 is specialist maintained now.
An interesting viewpoint is that i'm going thru exactly the same thought processes with our Jag XJ8 - its a 1999 car with full Jag history (60k miles). Price difference between main dealer and a specialist is £170 - main dealer exactly double the cost of the specialist. The difference is that i don't know much about jag specialists. Don't know what to do.
I guess it must be a valid observation that i'm more doubtful about a specialist in a market where i'm not so knowledgeable/don't have friends who are. That must be a factor for resale time.
Ajit.

Thanks for that Ajit.
I must admit that I have more faith in JZM than OPC. Under normal circumstances I would have no doubts. But the price being so similar and all...
