Talking Awesome weekend drives

Hi Folks,

With temps in the 70's and beautiful skies, this weekend provided some great drives in Colorado. If you're familiar with the Boulder area, you'll probably recognize Flagstaff Mountain and the canyon in the pic below and those on my site. It was so warm that many were wearing shorts, myself included. That's me in the goofy shirt below.

On Sunday two of my friends joined me and they had a blast driving the C4S. Most of my friends are hesitant at first, but soon realize that it's easy and fun to drive. This car is off the scale on the grin-o-meter! It's also an attention getter like nothing else I've ever driven, with people looking, waving, and commenting on it constantly. I should have bought a 993 sooner!

Have a Great Week!

Those pics look great.. I'm a bit surprised that you actually got an adult in the back seat, and she is still smiling though.

How's your Boxster taking all this? I know a couple very good sports car psychiatrists if you need one. I wouldn't leave the two of them in the same garage, unsupervised... Things can get very ugly

Hi H20NOO,

The Boxster is in a storage facility as I only have one space in the garage that I'm renting. I'm going to build a garage soon and the two will have to share the space...

One thing that driving the 993 has done is make me want more power, bigger tires, bigger brakes, and a better suspension in the Boxster! I don't think that even a Boxster S would do now. The Boxster is still a blast, but it needs more, more, more!

BTW, the adult in the back is very petite, maybe 5' tall and < 100 lbs. Not a lot of room back there, that's for sure. It makes me wonder about taking the seats out and just using it for storage. Anyone done this, and if so how's the finish and how hard was it?
