Default Fabricated new exhaust tips- dual style

I finally finished my exhaust tips for the most part. They are 304 stainless, 25 degree cut, utilizing the stock tip mount. The only thing left to do is paint the inside with high temp black paint and finish polishing them. They are a little dirty from my recent DE. I may consider producing some different products including these (in low quantities) in the future depending on my time availability as a student. Here are several pictures.

Let me know what you think!

Did you play with the alignment of the smaller diameter and larger diameter outlet? I wonder if there would be any difference in tone...

Also, overlapping them looks cool too but more work.

Very nice look, congrats.

There's not too much room for play. As for the tone difference, I doubt it would matter unless it was shaped like a megaphone.

As for overlapping, I considered that and was originally going to do it. I decided that look was a little goofy... seems to fit the 996 models better.

Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks! By the way, I meant to thank Chris for sparking my imagination to make these tips when he made some a while back.

For some reason, these dual tips look better than the ones that were posted several months ago. Nice job!

Mark,
Thanks! I guess it is because I tailored these to fit the 993 and fit well in the opening. Were the others retrofitted from another vehicle or something?

Mark,

I can't quite recall, but I think the diameter of the tubing was smaller and made it look out of place in the opening.
