Believe it or not, we ran rear spring rates near 4000lbs. at Michigan and Fontana and still required the use of ARB's. This is in addition to rocker suspension with motion ratios of up to 1.7:1!
Driver hated us, but it was needed

I don't know if anyone mentioned this but i can't possibly imagine a bar that is over 25mm in the front. I would imagine it would hit the brake booster. It would be interesting to know if that is in fact the case?
Also can anyone explain the preload concept and how it factors into the equation?

Boris, for Road Coarse setup, bars should not be preloaded (unless one cornerweights his car with bar preload). For production road cars, there usually isnt provisions for 'zeroing' the bars. Adjustable drop links are what is desired to do this..
