here is a translation - not sure to how good it is though...
** ** gas pressure absorbers offer Porsche 911 type 993 Koni shock absorbers to new for a Porsche 911 type 993 on complete a Koni (94 ' - 97'). Daemfer in front with the Koni No. G8641-1365 sport, absorber in the back G8240-1145 R+L sport. The front absorbers can be used even with older models (89 ' - 94').
One could regard the rear absorbers as small jewel. Here the no more does not concern over Koni Germany to be ordered can a pure tuner absorber.

These are brand neww. Front shocks are the inserts and fit both 993 and 964 orig, struts. Rear are shocks are out of production since a long time ago. They are left and right. I agree with Boris - these are bad boys!!!

I'm considering getting them. How difficult will the inserts be to install? Does the front strut need to be taken apart? What springs will they work well with?
Boris, is there any word why Koni stopped making rear struts?

Mike,
Koni has a tooling problem in making the mount for the rear sway bars. It sounds crazy but that's their reasoning. They will however rebuild a shock if you have one to begin with.
The front inserts are easy to install (as compared to a full shock). Just saw open your old ones and i recommend filling the void with oil.
Cheers,
Boris
